Some of you may know that I like going to estate sales and farm auctions in search of old and interesting items and that I used to sell said items on my other Etsy store Violet Hill Vintage, which I am currently in the process of resurrecting…more on that in the near future.

Last month I decided to jump in to the deep end of the pool and sell my wares at a Vintage/Flea Market on South Pearl St in Denver.  My estate sale partner/enabler in crime, Deb Sherman, owner of Dancing Wolf Gallery here in Elbert, Lucy to my Ethel, and I loaded up our respective pickups and headed in to Denver with the hopes of coming home empty…wow…that was a run on sentence that would make even Bob Dylan proud!

While we did not come home empty, I had a great time, met and spoke with so many nice folks, & sold some great pieces as well as some of my hand dyed yarns…which you can find on line on my Etsy Shop, Rolling E Ranch

The Flea/Vintage market happens the last Sunday of every month at the same time as the Farmers Market & is not to be missed!

This GORGEOUS Farm House table is currently for sale at Dancing Wolf Gallery in Elbert, CO

If you have never been to Pearl St, it is a cute area with lots of restaurants, a great coffee place,  Stella’s Coffee House, where you can sit outside on their deck with a yummy cup of coffee, and just walk around and enjoy the day.

The Market is run by Charlotte Elich, who owns 5 Green Boxes a wonderful shop also on Pearl.

While you are there, you don’t want to miss Craft Alley Beer, where they sell Crowlers.  What you may ask is a Crowler?  It is a 32oz can of beer, ale, that sort of thing, all sourced from Colorado breweries. I love shopping local, and these young enterprising guys have a great business going.

But back to Me Me Me, which is really what my blog is all about ????????.

I bring as much of my vintage to the market as I can fit in to my pickup.  You will find granite ware, old scales, tools, retro kitchen, old farm pulleys, industrial era metal wheels, vintage & antique furniture, vintage bark cloth, most anything you might want to give your home that Ranchy/Farm House look that is so hot right now.

I hope to see you at the next Market which happens on Sunday July 30th from 9-1 PM.  Look for me in the red topped tent with the Rolling E Ranch sign.

Until next time,  Happy Trails,
